The selected candidate will serve as a member of the International Trade Compliance team (ITC) within Global Operations based in York, Nebraska, reporting to the ITC Manager/Associate Director. The ITC Analyst is responsible for participating in multifaceted compliance projects across the business organization and meet established deadlines, work with business unit ITC personnel on complex regulatory/compliance issues, provide site level training, generate and maintain reporting metrics, brief executive staff on ITC program and participate in Quality ITC process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement and monitor the ITC program at the site

  • Brief executive staff on ITC program status

  • Participate/Lead in ITC council meetings

  • Participate in ITC site investigations/audits

  • Provide local ITC training

  • Maintain ITC site metrics

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and reviews applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure legal compliance.

  • Advises internal management or business partners on the implementation or operation of complex compliance programs to ensure business objectives are in compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.

  • Manages comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities.

  • Discusses emerging compliance issues with management or employees to identify the potential impact of future laws and regulations on the organization.Core

  • Develops and manages comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities.

  • Establishes business processes for submitting to and obtaining from the US government all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications and technology release determinations.

  • Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Includes (non-engineering) technical experts who support law department in investigating and resolving compliance problems, questions or complaints.

  • Establishes and maintains training and audit / assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Presentations)

  • Knowledge of SAP and GTS systems and tools

  • Export License/Agreement Management

  • Commodity/Jurisdiction and Classification awareness

  • Basic Import knowledge

  • Global mindset & cross-cultural experience & speak multiple languages

  • Aerospace or supply chain and/or quality auditing experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of prior relevant experience required.
