Position: Operational Performance Specialist

Location, Wolverhampton, Italy or France

The Aftermarket Operational Performance Specialist will act as the Operational Performance Director Deputy. The following specific activities will be managed by the candidate:

Continuous improvements activities (Operations)

  • Identify and benchmark operation best practices across Collins network or in other companies.

  • In light of benchmarks performed, propose to the key stakeholders appropriate action plans

  • Support the implementation of the action plans whenever needed across Actuation Aftermarket network

  • Support the Operational Performance Director for the reporting activities : Monthly reports on delivery performance, arrears and action plans by site to the Actuation & Collins leadership teams (ASA, SLT, CS organization)

  • Communicate internally regarding performance figures and action plans status related to high impact delivery issues, recovery plans, etc

  • Provide support and training to the site teams so the site operations are linear (in shipments and in sales).

  • Leverage relationships within the site to optimize output

  • Perform Relentless Root Causes Analyses with the sites using ACE tools to understand escapes and turnbacks

  • Ensure alignment between corporate initiatives and sites objectives

Digitalization

Act as a focal for all existing ASA and Collins Aftermarket Digital projects (MROLife, Customer Portal, Aeroxchange, MRODash, EMP...):

  • actively participate to the Steering Committees.

  • Ensure that Actuation needs are considered in the Collins tool definition (lobbying).

  • Support the implementation,

  • socialize them

  • provide training when needed,

  • provide support to users.

  • Help create a digital mindset / foster a digital culture

  • Coordinate with the Digital Technology organisation the digitalization of key aftermarket processes:

  • Identify digitalization opportunities(Develop new tools / improve existing tools / Define functional requirements so the development of digital tools will be developed by other teams (internal or external)

  • leverage Collins organization provide support to implement new tools.

Requirements:

The Aftermarket Services Actuation (ASA) organization is looking for individuals who will have the following experience, knowledge and skills :

  • Strong experience in aftermarket operations (MRO, Spares)

  • Proven relationship builder

  • Good communicator at all levels

  • Supporting team player with ability to drive results

  • Change agent

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment

  • Willingness to travel (in Europe mainly, North America)

  • Resilient

  • Language: English fluent, French & Italian will be an asset.

  • ACE tools

  • "IT interest"

Qualification:
