Job Title: Intern – Supply Chain

Location: West Point Seating Operations – Winston-Salem, NC

Internship Role & Responsibilities

Coordinates and administers the activities of product lines / projects / programs within Supply Chain:

  • Supports management by administering plans, programs and procedures for accomplishing projects.

  • Monitors conformance to work plan and responsibilities; reports findings to management.

  • Supports preparation of project reports for management or others as appropriate.

  • Document and administer actions arising from the daily Engineering Change Board (ECB) meeting

  • Prepare key program performance metrics and track materials related program milestones

  • Prepare program reports as required by management

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum GPA  of 3.0

  • Completion of sophomore year

  • Enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program for the Fall 2019 semester in Supply Chain Management or related degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstration of effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to function in a team environment with multi-disciplinary members

  • Previous internships, research or project experience in relevant field
