The Executive Account Director is responsible for the sale of company products, services, and solutions to a key OEM account. The role will maintain positive customer relations while directing all facets of the Company’s business development activities involving sales of manufactured products and/or services. The incumbent will serve as the primary customer point of contact for all matters regarding the company and the sale, delivery and support of its products and services.


  • Build customer relationships and intimacy, and assume the lead role for executive level interface

  • Responsible for achieving Interiors BU scorecard for business development objectives and appropriate proposal tracking

  • Responsible for contributing to the development of pursuit strategies in conjunction with marketing teams

  • Develop and drive Interiors level customer road-maps at key OEM accounts

  • Responsible for cross interior portfolio coordination, ensuring we have a "one company" look and feel

  • Coordinate SBU President customer interaction and cadences

  • Maintain constant awareness of customer demands and competitor offerings regarding products, conditions and terms (e.g. financing; NRE cost sharing and amortization; warranty and service and support issues, offset strategies) and in turn help to develop Rockwell Collins’ unique initiatives to provide a strategic, competitive advantage

  • Serve as the Interiors focal for the broader Collins Aerospace


  • Strategic relationships with executive level customers and other stakeholders

  • Understand and share the customer perspective and initiatives

  • Assist the portfolio's leadership in building relationships and progressing deals

  • Escalate customer concerns and aid in resolutions where appropriate


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent

  • 10 years interiors / aerospace account management / marketing experience, including in-depth knowledge of customer specifications and contracting techniques

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, lead and possess excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of sales strategy and execution and the ability to create winning strategies
