As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Customer Sales Support role in our Seating Operations - Fairchild business located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager the Customer Sales Support will be the account liaison between assigned customers and the company. Receives and processes the most complex customer orders, inquiries and/or complaints. Proactively maintains an ongoing relationship with key customers and sales staff.
Serves as a liaison between sales, supply chain/logistics, and manufacturing staffs, and customer; communication with customer on activities in these areas is integral to the delivery of customer service.
Tracks order activity, and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems. Expedites the delivery of selected orders.
Meets sales targets as established, focused on accounts which are stable in nature and within identified markets or geography.
Prepares sales presentation, contracts, and proposals to review by supervisor.
Participates in special projects, contracts, and proposals subject to review by supervisor.
Participates in special projects such as major promotions, new product launches, and new marketing initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with MRP / ERP systems (SAP or JD Edwards).
Minimum of 3 years experience in a highly regulated industry, including aerospace or manufacturing
Proven ability to manage customers to deliver positive value to the organization.
Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structure.
Strong business acumen and knowledge of labor market conditions.
Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Desire to identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead projects to make improvements to processes, procedures, etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility with, interact with, and influence suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders; Ability to build strong relationships.
