As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Manufacturing Clerk in our Seating Operations business located in Winston-Salem, NC (Fairchild campus).

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Clerk will provide administrative and clerical support to the operations team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep an updated array of placard drawing files according to latest revision

  • Create placard files for print either by pulling the drawing or free hand

  • Create samples for CDR as needed (colors, fonts, etc..)

  • Help supplier with drawing issues

  • Print program labels according to work order demands

  • Help and supply Spares on placards needed for current and old programs

  • Provide Quality Inspectors with FAA-PMA labels as needed

  • Provide Quality Engineers with Barcode, ID and Seat Tag labels after receiving their excel spreadsheet with the current information

  • Create and supply wire harness labels as need

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

  • Maintain printer supply inventory

  • Keep in close and clear communication with all departmental needs based on job duties

  • Perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two-to-four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and associates.

Ability to lift and/or carry up to 10 lbs.
