This position is responsible for providing customer engineering service to customers regarding Collins Aerospace products and services.


  • Provide technical support for all the Collins Aerospace products (Avionics, Cabin system, Sensor and fire protection) in the Eumea region and for Business and regional aircraft

  • Develop strong customer relationship with all levels (maintenance, middle management and senior level management)

  • Diagnose and isolate problems at the software, circuit, component or system level and perform or oversee repair and test pursue and identify unusual or critical problems and prepare recommendations for hardware, software, and systems modifications.

  • Identify and help develop major market opportunities in the region, using SalesForces.

  • Submit STARS tickets for tracking and resolving Customer issues, problems, and questions.

  • Forward sales and retrofit opportunities to Collins Aerospace sales and marketing personnel.

  • A team player who leads by example in working closely with all Sales & Support personal in the Region.

  • Presents technical presentations on systems operations and maintenance philosophy to end Customers, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and dealer personnel.

  • Represents Company in important service conferences involving integrated support requirements and coordinate various phases of Customer needs.

In addition to the above normal CSE Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and training to the Collins Aerospace dealers to operate and maintain equipment and systems within design requirements and specifications.

  • Act as a Mentor and Technical focal point for the escalation and resolution of customer issues working with both Product Support and the Regional Manager

  • Ensure Customer Service Engineers submit informative field reports containing current reporting period activities and schedule of future activities.

  • Identify Dealers Training needs and Coordinate requirements with both Product Support and the Regional Manager.

  • Act as backup CSE as required in the event of vacancy or vacation.


Must possess BS in Engineering, Business or equivalent. Advanced degree desirable. In addition, extensive experience of Communications or Avionics Product Management /Sales/ Marketing, including in-depth knowledge of customer specifications and contracting techniques. Good knowledge of IT is a must. Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, lead and possess excellent communication skills.
