UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. ISR & Space Systems is a business unit within UTAS and our products reside in deep space, low earth orbit, undersea and on the ground. We are also a major supplier to international space programs. The ISR & Space Systems business has contributed to significant advances in ground, air, space and imaging technology for over 85 years. Within ISR & Space Systems we design and manufacture Environmental Control and Life Support Systems on the International Space Station, including the space suit, and undersea in submarines. We are looking for highly motivated and technically sound individuals to join us as a Program Quality Engineer (DC). The selected candidate for this role will: Plan, coordinate, and take responsibility for all Quality activities that support the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and field service of mechanical and electrical hardware. Interface with customers, suppliers, lab personnel, and other functional groups on a day-to-day basis. Facilitate the investigation and elimination of causes of quality problems and follow-up on corrective actions. Exercise a high degree of independent judgment to accomplish a full range of responsibility.

*Education / Certifications The select candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology|.The candidate should have experience with QA systems such as AS9100, with 3+ years of relevant experience.

*Experience/Qualifications Relevant Skills: The candidate should have experience with QA systems such as AS9100 be Self-motivated with a passion for QA and proven problem solving ability, and have strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) PC skills with proficient in Microsoft office products. Must be a US Person This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with NASA guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per NASA's regulation SUBPART 1835.5 Drug-Free Workforce."
