Primary Responsibilities :

  • Manage projects within the Collaboration Tools team and will interface with business leaders in the SBU and Functional groups within the organization.

  • Design, configuration, testing and implementation of IT solutions for Collaboration Tools Team.

  • Oversee execution and maintenance of applications enabled in our enterprise environment.

  • Collaborate with a cross functional IT team to develop and execute an IT solutions.

  • successful implementation of waterline projects to achieve proposed benefits by utilizing organizational change management skills.

  • Manage project schedules, budget and resources ensuring to meet business requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.

  • Develop and provide input into strategic business roadmaps.

  • Drive innovation and act as a change agent.

  • Lead continuous improvement activities (ACE) to investigate turnbacks, escapes and improve application performance, quality and reliability.

  • Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other project related meetings.

  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.

  • Ensure the development teams are practicing the core principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

  • Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition

  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal.

  • Provide project status and steering committee updates and testing/defect resolution status.

  • Participate in the organization and planning of the development schedule based on methodology that has been developed to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.

  • Create, implement, and monitor the processes for requirements gathering and prioritization, test tracking, defect tracking and resolution.

  • Elicit and think critically of business requirements, perform analysis and facilitate requirements prioritization.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues.

  • Manage project financials, Statements of Work and Change Orders.

  • Manage all phases of the testing cycle (unit, integration, UAT, performance, etc.).

  • Perform and/or manage Organizational Change Management activities; communications planning, stakeholder management, and learning management

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions to complex export/import problems.

  • Minimum of 5 years of systems engineering, software development or business analysis experience on large solution development programs.

  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively, with minimal guidance and supervision.

  • Ability to exercise leadership, self-initiative, and sound judgment.

  • Highly motivated, organized, and the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to effectively communicate risks, manage scope and prioritize features and issues effectively at the highest levels.

  • Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, MS Project, and possess the ability to work successfully in cross functional teams.

  • Minimum of 4 years of engagement and project management for large technical projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, i.e. conflict resolution, facilitation, coaching, success recognition etc.

  • Ability to manage projects in different project methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Business Intelligence

  • Enterprise Information Management, Portals and Collaboration

  • Organizational Change Management

  • Custom Software Development

  • Document Management Systems

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience

  • Master's degree and 6 years of experience

  • OR equivalent/relevant experience in lieu of education.

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering preferred.
