The Customer & Account Management organization plays a critical role at Collins Aerospace both internally and externally. Based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, the Customer Response Center, commonly known as the CRC, is a 24 hours per day, 365 days per year operation. The center is dedicated to the resolution of aircraft on ground, critical spares and technical support requirements for the global customers of Collins Aerospace. The CRC has established a 24/7 customer service helpdesk that not only tracks and resolves operator issues, but also provides a single data collection point for component performance trends. The main customer service helpdesk of the CRC is effectively split in to two functional teams, a technical team and an AOG Logistics team. Both teams operate a 12 hour shift rotation to enable a seamless 24-7, 365 operation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handles escalated and unresolved calls and issues. Addresses complaints, issues, and other complex inquiries directly with customers. Provides guidance and recommendations on how to resolve customer situations

  • Guides information gathering, analysis, and investigation and develops documentation for customer account management.

  • Anticipate, recommend, and facilitate customer service and training needs.

  • Develop materials and information to be sent to customers to address inquiries and/or ensure smooth customer service operations.

  • Works with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or other groups as needed to meet established service levels.

  • Performs duties related to overall customer service.

  • May manage or work in call center for customer support.

  • Maintains knowledge of UTC organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers.

  • Consistently documents customer service needs to identify patterns and maintain quality.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of operations management experience in aerospace industry
