As a NEO Legacy Delivery Assurance Co-Op you will play a dynamic role in our fast-paced Delivery Assurance team, where we deliver premium customer service support to our Pratt & Whitney customer across several jet engine platforms. We are part of the Operations Department at UTAS, but are also considered key players in the Supply Chain Organization. Delivery Assurance means that our team is responsible for delivering product on time to our Pratt & Whitney customer to support jet engine manufacturing for both military and commercial programs. We are responsible for all levels of communication from beginning to end. In other words, we own the entire communication stream from the supply base for over 150 suppliers around the world, to internal UTAS communication, through the final customer interface. We interact with engineering, quality, contracts, and procurement teams at UTAS to ensure the customer priority is represented and that risks are mitigated for our supply base.

As a Delivery Assurance Co-Op you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting a Program Lead who is the front-line contact for our customer.

  • Tuning into the customer’s daily needs and inner operations, along with the supply chain hurdles.

  • Working with a team of Delivery Assurance Representatives to collect part status for our customer and identifying risks to help our Program Leads breakdown barriers.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel needed.

  • Must be available to work 40 hours a week.

  • Most co-ops either take a semester off, do an independent study program through their university, or take night classes while interning at UTAS.

  • Co-op hours typically run between 8am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday. Most terms run for an 8-month period.

  • This posting is for a co-op position starting at the end of July 2018 and extends through mid January 2019.

Due to federal regulation or contracting requirements, this position is only available to U.S. persons.

Education:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Must be enrolled in a university while interning at UTAS with a semester standing of sophomore, (i.e., completion of at least 30 college credits by the start of the session)
