Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process Control data collection and analysis

  • Suggesting process changes to improve process control and quality

  • Collection and analysis of Quality data

  • Collection and analysis of turn backs

  • Learning ME tools (e.g. Solumina, SAP)

  • Creation of Rework Orders

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.

  • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work 40 hours per week

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Results-oriented

  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to develop strategy

  • Teamwork & Collaboration Working Environment

  • A culminating presentation will be required at the end of the session, reflecting on experiences and knowledge gained from the business

  • 90% of time will be spent on a shop floor (with loud machines, hot temperatures in summer months)

Education:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
