Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. The Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with suppliers around the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team fosters a collaborative environment that thrives on utilization of the UTC ACE operating system, while coaching and supporting the supply base to ensure they meet our quality standards and achieve success in their lean journey. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a challenging environment. The candidate should able be able to provide a high level of customer focus while meeting business objectives.

As the P4 Manager for Supplier Performance within the for Global Operations located in Windsor Locks, CT you will have the opportunity to scale your core operations skillset to include cross functional leadership, solution based focused discussions with suppliers and the operational sites for supplier recovery and delivery recovery. Procurement reads across all aspects of supply chain competencies providing an excellent proving ground for motivated individuals with interest in building a strong base within UTC’s supply chain organizations. Success in this role is defined by forging strong supplier relationships, stronger contracts, taking ownership of coordination and communication of action plans to drive recovery, leading discussions associated with Corrective Action Boards (CAB) reviews with multiple sites, including Poland and Singapore as well as other Global Operations sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • In this role you will be expected to communicate to all levels of the organization, manage recovery plans with suppliers and supply chain leaders, and partner with other internal functional groups such as commodity and the supplier performance team to execute strategic initiatives.

  • Leading the Corrective Action Board sessions with Global Operations sites Coordinating with Supplier Performance, GOPS leaders, Delivery Assurance and buyer leaders to drive targeted supplier recovery efforts.

  • Employee will also be required to present status reports to executive leadership Supplier Recovery Plans and impact over time.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Aftermarket and/or Supply Chain disciplines with increased responsibility

  • A track record of managing to plan and achieving customer satisfaction

  • Proven leadership and communication skills

  • Business judgment with proven bottom line results

  • Able to lead in a collaborative team environment, especially globally

  • The successful candidate will possess the following strengths:

  • Strong customer focus, analytical thinking, polished communication, business innovation, organizational savvy, interpersonal skills, forward thinking and focus on results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to self-start and multi-task in a dynamic environment is a plus.

  • Project/Program Management Experience desirable.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Supply chain/Project related disciplines required.

  • A Master’s Degree is preferred with some elements of Business Management.
