Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage large, complex commercial contracts with inter-entity customers.

  • Administer existing contracts, analyze and negotiate claims, change assertions and settlements, support audits, specification compliance reviews, manage license agreements, draft/execute non-disclosure agreements and conduct contract negotiations within the limits of corporate policies.

  • Evaluate, develop and provide recommended terms and conditions for new contracts, serve as proposal manager in response to requests for proposals including the coordination of securing key proposal elements (including basis of estimates, scope of work, schedule and applicable assumptions) that result in recurring price impacts and/or non-recurring engineering price impacts.

  • Secure appropriate internal reviews and approvals in accordance with policy to facilitate ultimate submittal to customer in a timely manner.

  • Interact with various functional internal customers such as Program Management, Project Engineering, Cost Engineering, Finance, Operations, International Trade Compliance and Supply Chain Management in support of proposals, special agreements contract flow down and other activities as required.

  • Provide contract life-cycle support, including contract kick-off, change management, administration, termination/close-out activities in accordance with UTC Aerospace Systems

  • Contracts standard work instructions.

  • Assist with the development, assessment and enforcement of payment terms, including the identification of proposed milestone payments.

  • Coordinate customer demand activities with Contracts Demand Manager and provide direction and guidance on demand changes and loading requirements into SAP.

  • Support company ACE initiatives including standard work and business financial goals

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with SAP preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in business, contracts management, marketing, or finance) with 7+ years’ experience; or

  • Advanced degree (preferably in business, contracts management, marketing or finance), 5+ years’ experience
