Pri mary Responsibility:

  • Acts as the voice of the end customer; understanding long term objectives and insuring UTAS has plans in place to address any short falls

  • Program leadership and communication across all B/U Customer Service teams - Aftermarket Focal for Operator & OEMS (Pratt & Whitney) relationship

  • Communication with Airbus A/M organization, airlines, internal UTAS A/M functions, IPD team throughout program life cycle

  • Single point focal for in-service issues

  • Drive improvements to customer score cards and key performance metrics

  • Support the ACBD team as required

  • Strategic planning

  • Develop understanding of WWR and Supplier business objectives and weaknesses

  • Forecasts when objectives or weaknesses will negatively impact GTF in-service success

  • Communicate the risks and recommend mitigation plans

  • OEM Collaboration

  • Work with OEM team to understand known shortfalls and ensure new technical issues are diagnosed early

  • Review corrective action plans to ensure comprehensive and not short term, unless noted - Understand the elements for maximizing UTAS profitability

  • Engage OEM/Aftermarket teams as needed to proactively work to maximize profits without sacrificing quality or customer satisfaction

  • Fulfill all Contractual Aftermarket Requirements

  • Understand short term and long term contractual requirements

  • Ensure responsible organizations understand contract and have plans in place to fulfill UTAS obligations

  • Communicate any expected issues and develop mitigation plans

  • Program Control and Monitoring - Manage aftermarket risk/opportunities

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively identify areas of improvement opportunity

  • CFE budget management for A/M content

  • Monitor Product Field Performance and identify issues that need to be addressed proactively

  • Program Reviews and Reporting

  • Periodic internal and external progress/status reports

  • Support operator conferences

  • Provide status on Platform in-service issues and Significant Flight Event rates and Operating Committee meetings

  • Execute all Passports & Aftermarket Review Board reviews as appropriate

  • Work across boundaries to ensure requirements are satisfied

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with Masters Degree/7+ years experience with Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years of experience as Program or Project Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large scale program/project covering design and implementation by a cross functional team and/or management of multiple programs/project simultaneously

  • Experience with customer communication with complex programs/projects.

  • Certified Program/Project Management preferred if degree is non-technical

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience from an Accredited Institution

  • Master’s Degree with 5+ years of experience from an Accredited Institution
