FAA Notice: This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Process Fire Extinguisher repair material through receiving, general parts cleaning, parts teardown and reassembly, repair, document repair actions and packaging parts for return to customer.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Computer experience 3+ years.

  • Complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment.

  • Certification in TIG welding

  • 2+ years experience with Aircraft Fire Extinguisher Manufacturing or repair.

  • Working in an approved FAA repair station.

  • Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft access, word applications, and knowledge of SAP operating systems.

  • Reading, reading comprehension, analytical thought, B/P reading.

  • Must be able to follow written procedures.

  • Machining experience operators level on mills and lathes.

  • Knowledge of high-pressure gas cylinders, pneumatic pressure and halon agents used in fire suppression.

  • Proper use of hand tool.

  • Hazmat packing certification training a plus

Education:

  • ​High School Diploma or GED
