Pratt & Whitney Systems Design & Component Integration Organization is responsible for the integrating the design of components, modules, and systems into world-class commercial and military propulsion systems, APUs and Turbojets. Pratt & Whitney is seeking a self-starting individual with strong technical, problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills. In this role, you will lead systems engineering process with the goal of meeting technical, budget, and schedule requirements for the APU family of products. The ability to lead root cause investigations and recommend solutions that are appropriate both for P&W and for our customer is essential. In addition, you will be expected to drive technical metric optimization (weight, performance, cost, durability), manage technical risk, configuration and deploy requirements that differentiate our products from the competition

Qualification: Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering

  • 5+ years in Systems Integration

  • US Citizen, due to Government contract

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated strong problem solving, teamwork & leadership skills.

  • A track record of delivering results in a multi-functional team environment.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of management is essential.

  • Have successful experience managing cost, budget and risk requirements.
