Job Description

The HR Business Process Manager

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Identifying needs and facilitating process change

  • Leading process redesign workshops

  • Educating GPS business users responsible for managing and operating business processes

  • Monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance

  • Facilitating process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users

  • Applying their knowledge of business process modelling notations to documenting processes

  • Capture key data requirements for a range of stakeholders - HR Leadership; Business Partners; Management Teams; etc.

  • Coordinate data collection across the network to accurately capture data and maintain central systems

  • Evaluating the accuracy and completeness of data - implementing processes to improve data quality

  • Provide strong analytical skills, with confidence in using and interpreting numerical data

  • Provide trend analysis to meet the business needs

  • Identify and introduce methods to update, simplify, and enhance reporting processes and procedures

  • Ensure maintenance of all personnel information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act

  • Support the overall objectives of the People Services team

  • Assist with systems’ administration tasks, including data uploads, data cleanse and workflow design

  • Undertake appropriate project work to support the activities of the HR function

  • If necessary manage small team of indirect/direct reports of business analysts in contact centers within region

  • Ensure integrity of data within the HRIS and Payroll systems, and advise HR colleagues of actions needed to maintain data accuracy

  • Carry out and undertake any relevant training deemed necessary

  • Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures

  • Special Projects as assigned

Qualification:

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience developing, mapping, analyzing and redesigning process and related activities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with all levels of the organization

  • Strong computer skills in MS Office including MS Visio

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven atmosphere

  • Experience working within an HR function preferred

  • Demonstrated experience of combining data from separate systems is essential

  • Experience of using Excel to produce reports and analyze data is also essential

  • Knowledge and experience of Web-enabled IT tools and software such as Excel/Word, SharePoint.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel in review and analysis of large volumes of data

  • Experience using data analytics tools advantageous

  • Ability to extract data from a number of sources to produce meaningful reports back to the customer

  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in improving the delivery of reports and analytics

  • Ability to work as part of a team, within a very busy environment, which has strict deadlines

  • Ability to be able to work under pressure and respond to changing priorities

  • In addition to the responsibilities and skills listed above, the candidate must be flexible in their approach and undertake other duties and projects when required

  • Ability to manage small team of indirect/direct reports of business process and reporting analysts from contact centers within regions to ensrue alignment to direction and strategies

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required.
