What will you do?

As the Northeast Region Technical Consultant, you will support specifying and design activities in the building and construction industry. You will use your technical expertise to enhance business relationships with Engineers, Building Owners and Developers to design and specify building control solutions. This will include design and engineering support for HVAC, lighting, sustainability programs/features and other sub-systems that impact comfort and utilities within a facility. This position will also support other sales team members, as well as local training and marketing initiatives.

Becoming the trusted technical advisor that results in improved product positioning and market share are the key metrics determining success.

Where will you work?

To be successful in this position, you must reside in the Northeast US region.

Qualification:

  • 5-7 years of building automation and controls experience, preferably in a consulting engineering role

  • Knowledge of HVAC, lighting and general building systems – both in design and maintainability

  • Strong design skills within engineering documentation systems and ability to work within a fast moving engineering design team

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably either Mechanical or Controls Engineering

  • PE certification desired, CEM and LEED AP accreditation a plus
