Serve as the F119 Aircraft Parts Store (APS) Specialist at Elmendorf AFB; roles and responsibilities include ensuring that the flight line and engine back-shop are supported with the necessary parts and materials for the repair of F119 engines and modules.

Manage and provide on-site support for all F119 Peculiar Support Equipment and provide advice and assistance to the USAF supply personnel with respect to day-to-day supply/inventory issues pertaining to F119 engine parts.

Use initiative and judgment to identify problems and conduct investigations to determine root causes.

Coordinate problem resolutions with base customers, contractor on-site support staff, and P&W in-house inventory control point and Support Equipment Organization.

Support P&W team in execution of the F119 SPaRE contract to ensure every aspect of F119 base-level support is provided.

This is a 1st shift position, but candidate must be willing to work any shift and/or a flexed schedule to support business needs.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related field and 4+ years related experience.

  • Must be US Citizen and hold a current government security clearance or have the ability to obtain clearance and maintain it to perform their work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability for communicating and interacting with internal and external customers.

  • Experience with Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) and an understanding and knowledge of Air Force Materiel Management Regulations and USAF retail supply procedures to include use of standard supply reports and listings to control and track supply transactions is the most highly desired aspect of this job.

  • Experience with Air Force equipment management and tool control procedures is also highly desired.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprints and engineering changes (EC) is required.

  • Basic computer proficiency is required, and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite is desired (i.e., Word, Excel, and Access) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds unassisted in accordance with Company policies
