Role Overview:

  • As Senior Manager, Business Development, you will be responsible for sustaining and/or expanding ongoing efforts while simultaneously identifying new opportunities for products across the Collins Missile Systems portfolio including inertial, control actuation, datalinks etc., specifically targeting the military market. This includes working with the full spectrum of OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to identify potential product development and formulate capture and price to win strategies. You will also be required to perform extensive market and competitor research to discover emerging trends and help Collins gain a competitive advantage.

Additionally, you will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Work consistently with Senior Management to collaboratively develop strategic approaches that align with customer needs while also using your experience and knowledge to anticipate potential market trends and opportunities.

  • Maintain robust knowledge of current and emerging markets, especially those involving Collins products.

  • Develop and execute win strategies for existing and emerging programs while driving sales and profit growth.

  • Represent Collins/UTC as OEM primary point of contact. Maintain a comprehensive contact plan and applicable organizational structure for our primary customers

  • Deliberately build, foster, and maintain positive long-term business relationships.

  • Travel up to 50% (domestic and international) while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

  • Remote location will be considered

Required Education:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (required) in an appropriate discipline (desired) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

  • An Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline (desired) with a concurrent 10 years of relevant experience (desired).

  • In the absence of a Bachelor/Master’s degree, 20 years of relevant experience is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership, management, sales, and/or business development

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in DoD-focused government service, military, and/or aerospace

  • Able to obtain DoD clearance
