The Midwest Region of Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly effective Service Supervisor in the Cleveland, OH area.

This position will focus on a growing service business. You will need to direct the performance of field operations for maintenance and repair, as well as oversee the development of your field workforce through technical and safety field education. Also, in this role, you will be required to manage the expenditure of labor and other resources by way of route control, scheduling, and budgeting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and direct the field operations in a large geographic area for maintenance, repair, and open order activities

  • Manage testing to ensure timely completion

  • Manage labor and material cost to meet branch P&L objectives

  • Promote a safety culture and ensure compliance in the workplace

Qualification:

  • Operational and supervisory experience, preferably experience working with field (union) associates and/or managing a dispersed work group

  • Efficiency-minded and driven to improve installation times to elite levels

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment

  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail with ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

  • Strong technical aptitude; Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of elevator products preferred

  • Customer focused with ability to interact with customers professionally

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office product suite

Education:

  • High school education required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
