We are currently in need of a software developer that has experience with using the C# programming language. In this role, the candidate will perform software development in the Passenger Processing group working under the direction of a project lead. The candidate will work on our common use systems. They will be required to understand a set of software requirement document and then implement those requirements within the product. They must be comfortable working within an established architecture and framework. They will also need to have the ability to follow established software implementation patterns, listen well and follow directions. They should be highly analytical and knowledgeable in current technologies with strong problem solving skills.
General programming best practices
Experience using the C# programming language
Asynchronous processing of events
XML and XSD formats, rules and usages
SQL Server database and the Hibernate ORM
Visual Studios development IDE
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and five years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Java
WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation)
WCF (Windows Communications Framework)
SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
A proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio for documentation purposes is needed. The ability to pay close attention to detail, develop creative solutions for complex and abstract problems and concentrate for long periods is a must. The candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
