Prepare executive level material for presentation to senior leadership and external customers.
Autonomously handle preparation for meetings with General Manager’s staff, ensuring all parties are prepared.
Collect, analyze, and report data for decision making by the military business team. Includes operational, financial, quality, customer, competitor, and industry data.
Analyze collected data and advise the military business team on issues (commercial, operational, etc.)
Prepare internal and external briefings with intense focus on data accuracy, timeliness, and executive level presentation of data.
Provide strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs.
Support development of long-range business objectives and strategic plans by identifying internal and external strategic issues which could affect growth and profitability.
Analyze the market for business opportunities including monitoring of public information sources for market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and due diligence to position the business for growth.
Responsible for development and review of business processes to support execution of strategies and customer relationship
Identifies opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis and works with the UTAS Digital Strategy team to implement improvements to the process.
Travels with General Manager as required to support internal and external events
Ability to deliver high-level executive support to senior management.
Strong business acumen to approach business issues from multiple functional and/or operational perspectives.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
Strong problem solving ability to identify innovative solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
Superior interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills, ability to effectively present ideas to senior leadership and influence key decision makers.
Ability to work under pressure, handle ambiguity and change.
Excellent research skills using ERP systems, public information sources, and commissioned reports to form data-based decisions.
Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders to achieve positive results.
Effectively interacts with employees at all levels
Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities including handling several projects concurrently
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create presentations
Strong attention to detail
Bachelor of the Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with 7+ years experience is required.
Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 5+ years experience is preferred.
