Military Avionics & Helicopters is a division of Collins Aerospace specializing in the supply of aircraft sensors, avionics systems & integrated solution for military, government and aerospace industries . This position is for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Asia Pacific Business Development team. The team has the mandate to grow businesses in this region. You will have the ability to draw upon the extensive portfolio of products and resources that Collins Aerospace has, to prospect and execute pursuit strategies to capture business opportunities.
The Business Development Manager will interface with our customers and is responsible for understanding customer needs and requirements, formulate solutions to grow Sales and Orders.
Responsible for the development of business opportunities, growing orders and sales
Participate in the creation and execution of the pursuit win strategy
Accountable for Sales & Orders forecast (annual operating plan, 5-year strategic plan)
Support Bids and Proposals (ROM, FFP, BAFO)
Business negotiation skill required
Specific customers/accounts will be assigned to candidate
Build & manage customer network and affinity, gain insights to increase business successes.
Savvy with customers’ senior management and key decision maker.
Source of customer and competitive intelligence information
Manage and work with International Sales Representatives to develop and capture business opportunities.
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Tradeshows participation and support to promote Collin’s brand and solutions
Specialize training in USA will be provided to potential candidate.
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Avionics related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Management skill within large corporation is advantageous.
Fluent in English, additional language skill in any of the Asian countries is a benefit
Experience in business development, sales & marketing, account management with government, military and aerospace customers is required.
Candidate with Military & Government background is a definite benefit
Proven track record of growing sales and orders.
Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
Demonstrate passion to win and ability to create and convert leads into opportunities
Strong interpersonal skill, work ethics and accountability
