Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business development for Geared Turbofan (GTF) and other engine models

  • Plan sales volume and prepare budgetary forecasts to meet sales targets

  • Review business cases, drive implementation of new product lines

  • Drive and support Operations to exceed 98% OTD and MFA target set

  • Principal Accountabilities : (core responsibilities)

  • To drive to achieve company sales plan and EBIT, drive implementation of new product lines, support Operations to achieve above 98% On time delivery, and achieve MFA target set for the company

  • Structuring all aspects of CAS business management which includes building up business cases, ensuring profitability and business performance

  • Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Accountabilities :

  • Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company

  • To report on all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor

  • Responsible for performing an assessment of risk of his/her activities, taking corrective and preventive actions

  • To comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • To participate in audits and inspections as and when required

  • Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety

  • Member of the EH&S Audit committee

  • Quality Accountabilities:

  • To provide a quality product that satisfies our customers’ needs and expectations the first time, every time!

  • Emphasizing a total quality management process which provides accuracy, and strict compliance with agency regulations and customer requirements, giving the highest degree of confidence; understanding that meeting the requirements of the next employee in the work flow process is just as important as meeting the needs of external customer.

  • Improving the systems of production to generate continuing quality and productivity improvements with full accountability and responsibility.

  • Ethics Accountabilities:

  • Perform my responsibilities in compliance with the UTC Code of Ethics.

  • Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Accountabilities:

  • Support the Continuous Improvement programs and ACE activities within the company. Possess ACE Associate certification under ACP.

Requirements

  • Min. Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent. Completed MBA (or in-progress) will be a strong advantage.

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, with 5 years managing a sales/customer support team in an aero-component environment. Prior experience as Cell Leader or Engineer is an advantage.

  • Well versed in the technical requirements of the products, Operations’ production scheduling and materials availability, pricing methodologies.

  • Relevant Airworthiness papers from CAAS will be an added advantage.

  • Able to work in time sensitive multi-tasking environment.
