This production floor position contributes to the company mission and is an essential labor role for the department and site.
The furnace operator 1 role is a floor production position. The individual is responsible for the loading and unloading furnaces, building of furnace loads, and preventative maintenance of hardware. The role will operate furnaces using the Distributive Control System per standard operating procedures. The individual will operate support equipment such as Cranes, Forklifts, Vacuums, Scissor Lifts, Power Tools and etc.
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Experience working in an industrial production environment preferred. Must be fit for duty for use of respirator, fork lift, permit required confined space entry, and fall protection equipment.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
