Manages team of experienced professionals and owns the execution of long-term strategy.
Implements plans and prepares data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required.
Responsible for the implementation of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
Executes continuous management for the master demand schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available.
Responsible for the implementation of plans to minimize risks for shortages and ensures successful customer delivery.
Creates and executes plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, end items and other parts as required.
Facilitates the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SI&OP.
Executes continuous management of the master demand schedule, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, in order to provide long range OE and aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP process.
Monitors the transportation and delivery of inter/interplant parts and outbound finished products.
Tracks and manages inter/interplant work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
May oversee command center and drive part shortage resolution.
Monitors tracking and shipping.
Performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of material.
Mitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer delivery.
Drives the determination and implementation of material replacement strategies
Lead analysis and development of processes, performance metrics, and trends to drive increased performance and production cycle time
Collaborate with Finance, and Engineering to support integrated value stream solutions
Build a responsive and adaptive culture where cross training, teamwork, and knowledge sharing is key
Utilizes metrics to both drive strategic and tactical actions.
Drives multi-functional projects/initiatives aligned with achieving site materials planning, SIOP, and execution goals.
Driving planning strategies and execution of planning metrics
Maturing the SIOP Process
Experienced in driving past due recovery plans and corresponding leadership communications in those recovery plans
Bachelor’s degree preferred fields of study are Business, Engineering or Supply Chain
8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience
In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience in implementation material replenishment strategies
Experience working with Inventory segmentation tools
Experience in utilizing metrics to both drive strategic and tactical actions.
Experience in driving multi-functional projects/initiatives
Experience with SIOP
