Electric Power Systems Supply Chain is seeking a goal-oriented and energetic supply chain professional to manage supplier accounts to ensure on-time delivery, zero defect plans, and drive strategic results within their supplier accounts. This role offers the selected candidate an opportunity to engage with all levels of assigned supplier organizations, in addition to being a high visibility role internally.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of assigned supplier relationships, including delivery performance, cost and inventory management, contractual compliance, and internal/external customer satisfaction.

  • Purchase order execution, product delivery, product cost, and product quality.

  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the UTAS Procurement Manual, UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW).

  • Requires interaction with Regional Office personnel such as Delivery Assurance Specialists, Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR’s), Supplier Development Engineers, to ensure that critical suppliers are being engaged by multiple functions such as required address systemic issues impacting performance.

  • Ensure that the extended team is deployed in a way to mitigate all risk present for the assigned suppliers.

  • Coordinating with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Global Transitions to affect a smooth transition of new hardware from development into full production and ensure producibility and quality issues as resolved on key programs.

  • Ensure active daily use of the ACE operating system through ACE tool usage to improve EH&S, quality, delivery, financial, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction

  • Actively drive Supplier Gold by participating in supplier improvement activities, and Critical Supplier Reviews.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aftermarket, Supply Chain disciplines, or related field.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic SAP knowledge

  • Understanding and experience with the manufacturing process across several commodities.

  • Strong, demonstrable, computer and quantitative skills are desired.

  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Prior Aerospace/Supply Chain Experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be able to work independently with some direction The successful candidate must be a self-starter possessing sound technical judgment in addition to having the ability to integrate, interpret and act on conflicting or incomplete information in pursuit of an objective.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Business or related field is required.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
