The Quality Leadership & Engineering Accelerated Development (Q-LEAD) Rotational Program at UTC Aerospace Systems is seeking motivated participants to begin and/or expand their knowledge and capabilities in an exciting Quality engineering leadership development program. The Q-LEAD Rotational Program is looking for candidates of various experience levels and backgrounds for Cohort 4, beginning in summer 2019.

The purpose of the program is to develop future leaders within our Quality organization by providing participants with the unique experience, rotating into new and exciting Quality assignments at various UTAS business units across the US throughout the program. The Q-LEAD Program is a two year program consisting of three, 8-month rotations across a variety of Quality disciplines. Possible assignment locations include, but are not limited to:

  • Alabama

  • Arizona

  • California

  • Colorado

  • Connecticut

  • Illinois

  • Minnesota

  • North Carolina

  • Ohio

  • Vermont

Through hands-on coaching and mentoring, the participants will learn and develop technical skills in each of the Quality areas they explore. The Program offers valuable experience in Quality engineering areas such as Operations Quality, Quality Clinic, Supplier Quality, Quality Management System Compliance / Regulatory Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer / Program Quality.

The goals and benefits of the Q-LEAD program are to:

Qualification:

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of industry experience preferred

  • Prior UTC experience also preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
