Primary responsibilities :

  • Ensuring repair station compliance with all governmental regulatory (FAA, EASA, CAAC) and AS9110 requirements

  • Maintaining Repair Station Manual and Quality System Manual

  • Owning internal and external audit process

  • Supporting the site's FAA Drug and Alcohol Program as a Designated Employer Representative (DER)

  • Managing the site training program

  • Identifying required skills and coursework

  • Creating and maintaining scheduling requirements

  • Auditing site skills matrix to track progress and drive completion

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization

  • Overseeing the Quality Clinic

  • Creating robust standard processes

  • Coordinating with the DCMA and customer quality organizations for any required audits or source inspections

  • Owning the supplier quality process for the site

  • Acting as a liaison between site and Central Quality organization

  • Facilitation of ACE trainings, meetings and assessment of activity progress and event metrics ensuring tool usage and participation across the site.

  • Must be able to motivate others and lead by example through active participation.

Qualification:

Basic requirements:

  • Experience working in an FAA Part 145 repair station environment

  • Strong knowledge of AS9100/AS9110

  • Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders

  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills

  • Ability to coach and develop direct reports and others within the organization

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in all quality-related matters

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization

  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previously held FAA Repairman Certification or an A&P license

  • Experience with ISO 9001/1400

  • Continuous improvement processes and tools (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage change effectively

  • SAP experience is preferred

Education:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in business, engineering, operations, quality systems or related field with 6+ years of experience.

  • Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience.
