In this position, you will perform conceptual and detailed electrical design, analysis, documentation, procurement, and fabrication support efforts for test solutions supporting Electric Systems products in development, qualification, and production environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Test equipment is designed to support analog and digital PWBs, electronic controllers, power conversion and power distribution equipment used in aircraft electrical power generating and distribution systems.

  • Assignments may include detailed test requirements generation, hardware design, and production facility support for new and existing electronics test equipment.

  • The hiring group has a strong teamwork culture and is focused on people and results. We are dedicated to helping each other in an effort to better meet our customer’s needs.

  • The successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical understanding of signal level circuits.

  • Experience in power electronics is desirable. In addition the candidate must be a strong communicator (written and verbal) and have a demonstrated track record of process improvement and understanding of configuration control methodology.

  • The successful candidate may be asked to provide coaching and technical guidance to less experienced electrical engineers supporting development of test hardware.

Qualification: Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years related experience in electrical design

  • Experience in using electrical design tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desirable skills include familiarity with PWB design methods

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering or Master’s Degree Electrical Engineering preferred
