Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and validation of ground support equipment primarily consisting of tools/equipment required to service, test, maintain, adjust, calibrate, transport, safeguard, store, inspect, repair, overhaul, install, remove, gauge, measure, assemble, disassemble or operate products and associated parts of an aircraft when on the ground.

  • Additional responsibilities include project budgeting, scheduling, tool estimation, tool validation, and overall project management of outsourced resources.

  • As a member of customer service, candidate must be able to communicate effectively with airlines and airframe customers as well as suppliers in the resolution of technical issues.

  • The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is a key to success in this position.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience or equivalent in electrical/electronic design.

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of ARINC 625.

  • Experience working in a Maintenance and repair organization.

  • Experience with electronic test equipment design.

  • Familiarity with component maintenance manuals and the drawing creation and engineering change process.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from and Accredited Institution is required.

  • Master's Degree in Engineering from and Accredited Institution is preferred.
