We are looking for a Program Manager to support the Electric Power Systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide the strategic program leadership for a program team acting as the customer focal, responsible for achieving all program and contract objectives by leading a functionally matrixed organization of supporting staff.

  • Manage all aspects of income and spending, forecasting, cost management, engineering/program spending and departmental budgets for all OEM-related programs

  • Responsible for planning and executing development programs to defined schedules and budgets

  • Responsible for On Time Delivery via support of production forecasting, material planning and PMO support of shop floor issues

  • Support business management of the aftermarket and customer service aspects for responsible production programs

  • Responsible for assuring that all functional aspects of the group perform in a manner which supports business unit and program/customer commitments, including: Program Management, Finance, Quality, Operations, Business Development, Engineering, and Contracts

Qualification:

  • 10 years experience in Program planning and management (cost, quality and schedule)

  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement/ACE tools and their use

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professionally diffuse difficult situations

  • Ability to direct and motivate

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

  • Knowledge of financial/business analysis techniques

  • Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management

  • Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP program desirable

Education:

  • Bachelors degree with 10+ years experience

  • Masters degree with 7+ years experience

  • PhD degree with 4+ years
