Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Interacts with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsible for workforce planning and organizational development initiatives: Talent Management; Performance Management; Change Management; Training.
Includes small-scale budgetary responsibilities: Update, reallocate, and prioritize based upon budget requirements; Forecast budget for the fiscal year; Control internal and operating budget, as well as other expenditures.
Assist in the collaboration with life cycle value stream leaders and sales leaders to develop a year-term forecast and marketing for the future.
Identify customer needs and set customer pricing accordingly: Identify what is most relevant for a product system.
Direct the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
Monitor the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace.
Involved in business and market research and the monitoring of competitive activity.
Lead new product definition and business plans with joint departments.
Identify, create, and manage business relationship with select companies to develop solutions and/or create complementary products/services.
Responsible for managing a department and all projects assigned to the department.
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
US Citizenship Required
Must be have the ability to obtain an active US DoD Security Cleaance
Experience in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
Ability to lead team in new market penetration and strategy development/executions
Ability to leads capture teams throughout capture phases including opportunity identification,
qualification, competitive assessment, price to win development, strategic positioning,
proposal development, negotiation and program protection.
Role Key Accomplishments:
Ability to navigate civilian UAS market opportunities and guide global team to execute to an established plan to grow the business
