Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Business Process Management Intern role at UTC Aerospace Systems - Interiors business unit. Mentorship will be provided to support growth and learning of supply chain strategies, business processes, and to support in the identification of opportunities for improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support data analysis across Interiors Supply Chain sites

  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external business partners to meet business process objectives

  • Review and manage commitments in areas of on-time delivery, overdue reduction and buyer optimization

  • Support Business Process Management and ACE continuous improvement activities and events

  • Support presentation development for the executive leadership team

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Business, or another related field from an accredited institution

  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Must have completed at least 30 hours of college coursework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in teams on various business process projects

  • Ability to comprehend large data sets

  • Detail-oriented

  • Mindset for continuous improvement

  • Self-driven worker who is always looking to excel in what they do

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Good computer skills with the ability to learn new programs/software

  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints

  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task amidst a fluid business environment

  • Ability to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Business, or another related field from an accredited institution.
