This position leads multiple teams headed by Finance managers or supervisors, establishing and executing objectives for financial analysis, research, and forecasts. Recommends and implements procedures and processes in support of financial strategy. Provides technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders.
Develops strategic and operational goals for financial analysis, research and forecasts to support long-term and strategic business decisions of the organization.
Directs financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting as well as preparation of action plans and recommendations for business and operational decisions.
Provides technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders.
Leads interpretation of complex financial reports and statistical analysis as well as development of recommendations.
Recommends and implements procedures and processes to expand sales growth and identifies risks and opportunities.
Leads processes to ensure that financial practices are conducted accurately and in compliance with regulations, laws and standards.
Leads large-scale, cross-functional projects. Directs support on key financial transactions and business decisions.
Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.
Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management.
Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, engineering and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes.
Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning.
Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.
Provides support for pricing and sales.
Develops and maintains financial information systems.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
