Carrier is seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability professional to support Carrier’s Social Impact efforts. This position will support ESG and CSR reporting and will lead the implementation of the corporate social responsibility and employee engagement software/platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainability and/or CSR. They will be process oriented and have experience with Data Management. S/he is comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment. S/he will also be adept at multitasking and maintain a strong commitment to quality.

The Specialist of Social Impact will be based at Carrier’s world headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, reporting to the Senior Director of Social Impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the corporate social responsibility and employee engagement software/platform.

  • Manage the standard process and policies for ESG and CSR data collection and reporting (e.g. ESG metrics, CSR budget, Grant Management, Matching Gifts, etc.)

  • Support the creation of Carrier’s first Corporate Responsibility Report.

  • Support the creation and development of Social Impact content for internal and external use.

  • Collaborate with Communications, Marketing and EH&S on award applications, external surveys and special projects.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support employee volunteerism programs, including the development of program guidelines and metrics gathering.

  • Engage with external and internal stakeholders on the execution of signature CSR programs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience

  • Masters a plus

Experience / Qualifications

To be considered, candidates should possess the following professional characteristics and be able to demonstrate them through the candidate assessment and selection process:

  • Experience in the corporate, social and responsibility and/or sustainability

  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills that reflect an ability to clarify and simplify complex issues and subject matters.

  • Highly efficient project management abilities and the ability to balance multiple projects.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

  • Strong attention to detail, high-quality work, and the ability to make recommendations are essential.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a successful track record.

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior executives.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization

  • Experience with data management, analysis and reporting

  • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and performing queries in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. Discoverer and Business Objects), along with data gathering, manipulation, and analysis
