Description:

In this position you will be reporting to the Quality Clinic Supervisor. As the Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for the Corrective Action (CA) process and quality improvements within the assigned Focus Factory.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow up on the completion of CA

  • Initiate or facilitate Internal Corrective Action Request (ICAR); follow-up the completion of ICARs

  • Collect and analyze monthly sub-factory quality metrics (QNs and trends, snags, scrap, etc.)

  • Perform audits as required (product, internal, etc.)

  • Coordinate the execution of audits in the sub-factory

  • Collect data for and complete actions from Quality Review meetings

  • Collect data for and complete actions from Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings

  • Review Operator Self Verification (OSV) audit results; initiate and follow-up CAs as applicable

  • Create standard instructions and quality alerts where necessary to support quality initiatives

  • Support the OSV certification process

  • Perform training as applicable and facilitate quality improvement initiatives

  • Work constructively within teams focused on problem solving

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline

  • 3 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment in a similar capacity

  • Demonstrated extensive technical knowledge of machining and/or surface finishing processes

  • Knowledge of the QMS process, especially corrective action system as well as demonstrated familiarity with the internal audit process and ability to generate technical documents

  • Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel & Word)

  • Demonstrated team player who is able to work with minimal supervision
