The Manufacturing Associate role may include but is not limited to operations in machining, grinding, assembly, precision bench work, and use of precision measuring instruments. This is a part-time intern position and it is located in North Berwick, ME. The minimum duration for this assignment is 3 months and the maximum duration is 6 months.

Qualification: Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing operations experience

  • Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions

  • Ability to set up machines, troubleshoot, do standard walk-arounds and inspect own work

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong computer skills

Education: Pursuing a high school diploma and precision machining certificate or degree. Minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) required.
