Job Description:

Pratt & Whitney's North Berwick Engineering Center, located in beautiful Southern Maine, is currently seeking a talented and dedicated IPT Lead/Project Engineer with the creativity, drive, and desire to see their ideas become a reality. You will apply Project Engineering skills to support activities and technologies related to commercial and military gas turbine hardware. Hardware responsibilities include components found in the compressor, turbine, and bearing compartments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will work with the Cold Section Engineering (CSE) Customer to support and lead cross-functional teams responsible for the design, fabrication, and repair of this critical hardware.

  • Other activities include - detailed task planning and tracking, including earned value management - coordinating integrated product development teams - integration of technologies into product lines - participating in investigations and corrective actions.

  • You are self-motivated and willing to take on challenging initiatives.

  • You have a record of achieving objectives within schedule and budget constraints, and driving continuous improvement is highly valued.

  • You have proven leadership skills.

  • You are a team player who also works well independently, and will be highly adaptable to changing business needs.

Qualification:

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering.

  • U.S citizenship is required due to government program requirements.

  • 5+ years experience in an engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred candidates will have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, aerospace design methods and procedures, and continuous improvement tools.
