Description:

Responsible for evaluating the structural integrity of gas turbine parts. Perform FEA analysis to ensure deflections, stresses, fatigue life, crack growth life, and frequencies are within margins.

Qualification:

Academic degree with technical intern experience designing hardware, analyzing test data, conducting finite element or structural analysis. Experience designing or analyzing gas turbine engine hardware is a plus. Candidates must have demonstrated strong teaming and communication skills. Candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens. Proficiency with ANSYS FEA package preferred, must be proficient with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), familiarity with UG NX CAD a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering is required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
