Job summary

North Berwick Aero Systems is looking for an organized, motivated individual to lead a large organization of highly skilled supervisors, engineers, multi-trade employees and contractors. You will lead the organization in completion of work related to building needs, power distribution operations, site security, capital installation of all machine tools/building upgrades, preventive, and reactive maintenance of machine tools. You will provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building that is responsive to organizational requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Drive site toward both predictive and preventive maintenance

•Communicate with business unit managers, executives, and contractors to coordinate maintenance/repairs and operations activities to resolve machine and building-related issues

•Provide overall technical guidance and direction to facilitate and assist the site in meeting production goals

•Develop and prepare annual capital plan, including budgeting, cost estimating, with adherence to fiscal management principles and procedures

•Monitor and authorize expenditures in accordance with established guidelines

•Implement and lead various maintenance-related programs including routine, preventative and predictive maintenance

•Develop and implement long and short-term plans and activities to meet the site’s needs related to maintenance and production operations

•Evaluate benchmarks to determine productivity, customer satisfaction, and resource needs

•Read, write, speak and understand English

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications -

•BA/BS w/10+ years or MA/MS w/8+ years of relevant experience in facilities leadership

•8+ years of manufacturing facilities experience

•3+ years of leadership/management experience

Preferred Qualifications -

•Proven success in team leadership, facilitation and mentoring

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•Ability to work with minimal direct guidance or direction from others

•Knowledge of Machine tools, building systems, cooling towers, power/boiler operation, security/protective services, and construction management

•Demonstrated flexibility/adaptability in high stress, ambiguous environments

•Strong background in machine and building repair with working knowledge of NFPA 70e, NFPA 79, National Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards

•Predictive Maintenance
