Description:

The EUS Transformation (EUSx) is an ambitious initiative focused on improving the end user experience with digital services. Key components include the implementation of a self-service catalog portal for acquiring hardware, software and services through UTC’s new implementation of ServiceNow. Other workstreams involve the streamlining of the Refresh and onboarding process, supported by several technologies, and the implementation of contemporary support options, such as walk in centers, IT vending machines and a self-help knowledge accelerator.

This position will be responsible for multiple lines of work within the overall End User Services Transformation (EUSx), with a focus on data. Delivery of these projects will involve working with senior stakeholders across several functions, such as HR, Compliance and Security. The position will work with the Corporate EUSx Team on creating and delivering presentations to senior digital leaders.

Data Areas: Successful implementation and management of the EUSx requires several data activities:

  • Work with DXC data architects to map the lineage of key elements required for the delivery of personalized services.

  • Systems involved include HR systems, such as Workday, IDM systems such as OIM, directory services such as LDAP and AD, as well as integration into ServiceNow.

  • One-off analyses would include deriving intelligence and insights using data spanning the global user base, including help desk information, PC asset information, physical site information and supporting vendors.

Program Areas: The position will work collaboratively with the Corporate EUSx team to taken on critical aspects of the transformation, which could include, but not limited to:

  • Management and organization of “direct ship” capabilities – enabling end users to directly receive and install new hardware and return old hardware. This will involve working with facilities, mail services and EH&S to establish processes and services that deliver hardware from site loading docks to the desk and managing the physical install where required.

  • Deployment of “Walk-In Centers” to 16 sites across the United States

  • Engagement of global teams to refine the service catalogue in the areas of refresh, hardware and software procurement.

  • Orchestrating test plans for several new technologies across over 10 domains throughout the United States.

Additionally, the position will be encouraged to immerse themselves into any area of the EUS Transformation.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Lead well scoped areas of the Transformation throughout the U.S., and globally where appropriate.

  • Leverage agile methodologies in the management of key projects.

  • Engage, and facilitate change, with senior stakeholders across all business units and various functions.

  • Collaborate with architects and key data owners in mapping out and deploying data management strategies.

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree required

  • MBA Degree is a plus
