The Global Services Repair organization is seeking an experienced quality professional to lead a variety of compliance initiatives in support of quality performance goals. The Associate Director of Quality leads the global regional quality and interacts with the repair site quality managers at the MRO sites to provide coaching and guidance on customer quality compliance to industry standards. The position will be responsible for interaction with internal sites and external suppliers as needed to support business quality objectives.
Lead and coach Global Regional Manager on various strategic quality initiatives and compliance standards
Support and provide guidance for MRO leadership on root cause analysis methodologies to eliminate customer escapes
Implement and create procedures to ensure compliance to the business processes
Analyze data and recommend improvements to internal department, repair sites, and suppliers based on audits results, escape activity, and other relevant quality performance measures
Support and drive quality cost reduction initiatives, execution of quality plans that drive achievement to meet quality goals
Flow down and coach suppliers and sites on QMS, and regulatory requirements
Perform audits and process reviews at internal sites and external providers to ensure compliance to industry, customer, and regulatory requirements
Promote continuous improvement and implement best practices within quality systems
5+ years relevant Aerospace MRO experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business. Master’s degree preferred.
Solid background in customer escape management (DIVE, RRCA, Mistake Proofing)
Understanding of various Civil Aviation Regulations (FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc.)
Understanding of auditing requirements to industry and regulatory requirements (AS9110 preferred)
Strong communications and interpersonal skills that can motivate others and influence executive leadership
Good analytical skills to develop, monitor, and interpret key metrics and business indicators, as well as develop and execute solutions to noted issues
Requires the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches
Must have excellent organizational skills, able to work independently, and operate across organizational levels
Computer skills- Proficiency in Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project
Practical CI /ACE / Six Sigma experience
Experience with SAP and other IT Quality systems
