We have a rare opportunity for a hardworking F119 Heavy Maintenance Center Quality Manager in our Midwest City, Oklahoma office, working at the Tinker Air Force base.

Job Description

  • Lead and own the F119 HMC quality team to ensure the accurate and timely performance of:

  • Part/Module Inspection (including First Article Inspection).

  • Non-conforming material processing (e.g. Quality Clinic and MRB processes)

  • Issuance and closure of Quality Notifications to repair sources for nonconforming repairs

  • Quality Escape Management

  • Compiling and monitoring performance metrics for inspection throughput and effectiveness

  • Coordinate with other Pratt & Whitney organizations, including: Logistics Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Materials, Customer Service Engineering, and MRO Engineering.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with USAF OC-ALC counterparts in support of the HMC.

  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement utilizing P&W ACE principles, including the enhancement of departmental procedures and standard work

  • Participates/prepares for and supports group working events.

  • Train, mentor and coach other team members in the P&W Quality Management System.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 3 years aerospace experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or experience with the following: non – conforming materials; first article inspection; MRB; leading continuous improvement

  • US Citizen due to government contracts
