The Compression Systems Module Center delivers highly technical products to the Engine Centers and Spares Organizations. CSMC operations is looking for a Vendor Management Lead , a high-energy, dynamic team leader to manager vendors for the module center.

You assist the Business Unit Managers in managing the process with vendors across the module center. Understanding and ultimately exceeding customer expectations is a focus for this role. As Vendor Management Lead, you also assist in the development of strategic planning, capacity and on time delivery to ensure module center customer commitments are being met. Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills are critical. Embrace ACE Operating System and lean manufacturing vision and thrive in a team environment with high-performance expectations.

There is a 25% travel associated with this role.

Job responsibilities will include :

  • Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities.

  • Work proactively to address issues and meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate consistently throughout process to ensure smooth process flow.

  • Drive ACE continuous improvement initiatives - utilize ACE tools to improve production and performance.

  • Develop vendor capability plans that align with monthly delivery customer needs.

Qualification:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of related experience, including strong team leadership and project management with a Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years of related experience, including strong team leadership and project management with a Master's Degree.

  • US Citizenship

  • MS Office

Preferred Experience:

  • Master's Degree preferred.

  • Manufacturing and/or Industrial Industry experience, Aerospace Industry experience is a plus.

  • 2 years’ experience in continuous improvement principles (e.g. lean manufacturing and/or ACE, QCPC) preferred.

  • Experience working at all levels of management and communicate effectively with peers, customers, and clients.

  • Experience with planning projects and use of written/verbal/analytical/org skills to influence business objectives.

  • Proven quality and customer satisfaction through ACE operating system.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver results.
