In this role, you will provide support to the organization relative to improvement of suppliers' Quality, as well as providing Quality interface, expertise and support to Suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate suppliers to find root cause and implement corrective / preventive action on all escapes

  • Manage quality issues with PW Engineering, the supplier, product recall, customer technical support, MCL, and operations

  • Manage all steps in the Escapes management process including MRB dispositions of nonconforming material

  • Participate on cross functional team projects to improve the overall organization; develop your career path and grow as a leader, with coaching and assistance by the Quality Manager

  • Travel may be up to 20%

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering or other technical field of study preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, aerospace and/or manufacturing area

  • US citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid organizational and communicational skills

  • Certified auditor or are a CQE

  • Knowledge of Aerospace quality systems including AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001

  • Experience working through problems (such as supplier quality issues, On-Time Delivery, Quality Escapes, etc.)

  • Experience working with ACE, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma or related Continuous Improvement tools, with a record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments

  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities

  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and external customers

  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
