Job Description

The Product Delivery Center Engineering Team is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the Middletown Production Test Engineering Group.

Responsibilities

The Middletown Production Test Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Middletown Production Test Engineering Team that supports all models tested within the PDC. This team is responsible for supporting the existing delivery volume and driving improvements to ensure team capability & proficiency is in place for future expanded volumes across all supported programs. Additionally, ensuring day to day planning including manpower, proficiency, and technical troubleshooting activities are in place and on track. The Middletown Production Test Engineering Group acts as the central integration hub for production test requirements and facility automation interfacing with the West Palm Beach engine test facilities and international test sites under the PDC (Product Delivery Center).

As such additional responsibilities include ensuring engineering requirement updates are captured, implemented, and executed per intent while working cross functionally with management of the teams of the adjacent sites.

Qualification:

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering or technical discipline

  • 5 - 7+ years of experience in working in a gas turbine engine test, overhaul, or manufacturing environment.

  • US citizenship is required due to government program requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering related to Mechanical or Manufacturing

  • 1-3+ years of experience working as a manager in a technical group providing direction and guidance to indirect or direct reports

  • Masters of Science in Engineering field.

  • Demonstrated success managing a multi-site, multi-national team

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage critical daily activities in 24/7 production environment

  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating success guiding continuous improvement initiatives in a cross functional environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience standing up new test facilities or new programs within existing test facilities

  • You are able to work in a diverse group, manage numerous projects and have good communication and organization skills

  • Team player

  • Possess Excellent Judgement and professional maturity
