The CMM applications programmer will be part of the CSMC Automated Inspection Group. This group provides P&W Operations with services in the field of CMM Programming in a variety of programming languages including Camio, Modus or Quindos as well as other programming languages.

This position involves the development and verification of CMM programs and occasionally implementing new inspection system capabilities.

It is expected that master model concepts be applied when working with engineering product definition for CMM program generation. The CMM applications programmer actively drives the proliferation of graphical programming and graphical verification throughout P&W’s manufacturing units.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in Quality Control/Technical environment including CMM programming

  • Bachelor degree is required

  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarization with lean manufacturing and Quality processes.

  • Expert in GD&T to ANSI standards and abilities to read blue prints.

  • Provide technical guidance to manufacturing operations to support product quality.

  • Understanding the use of ACE tools, particularly root cause analysis and mistake proof process.

  • Effective verbal and electronic communication skills. Must be able to work autonomously, or as part of a cross functional team.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Education: Bachelor Degree Required; engineering, manufacturing technology or technical discipline preferred
